New schools may be '21st century model grammars'

In the Budget this week we will hear the chancellor proclaim an extra £320m to help fund up to 140 new schools, creating more than 70,000 new places.

Conservative MP Suella Fernandes is a member of the education select committee. She tells BBC Radio 4's The World at One that she is in favour of more grammar schools saying they "are a welcome addition to the choice on offer to parents" and that they will be "a 21st century model of grammar school".
