Female Catalan killer brought to book

Catalan writer Marc Pastor admits his day job has some influence on his novels.

As a detective based in Barcelona, he investigates crime scenes.

However he has still found the time to write four novels, one of which, Barcelona Shadows, has been translated into English.

As Pastor tells the BBC's Nick Higham, the book is based on a true story of a female serial killer who terrorised Barcelona between 1911 and 1912.
