  6. Corbyn 'would serve' in Owen Smith's shadow cabinetpublished at 10:25 British Summer Time 17 August 2016

    Victoria Derbyshire

Also during the quickfire round, both candidates are asked what they consider to be the best and worst things about each other.

Owen Smith says Jeremy Corbyn has great integrity but is not a leader.

Mr Corbyn praises Mr Smith's enthusiasm but says the worst thing about him is that he resigned from the shadow cabinet "and should come back". Mr Smith has said he wouldn't serve again under Mr Corbyn.

But the current Labour leader says that he would serve in a Smith shadow cabinet - and Mr Smith says he'd be happy to have him.

  9. Labour hustings: Jeremy Corbyn's quickfire roundpublished at 10:22 British Summer Time 17 August 2016

    Victoria Derbyshire

    Ant and Dec

It's Jeremy Corbyn's turn for the quickfire round.

Asked which he prefers out of Trotksyism or Blairism, he answers: "Neither."

However, he does praise former Labour PM Tony Blair for the Northern Ireland peace process, the minimum wage and the Human Rights Act.

He fails to identify Ant and Dec from a photo - and is then apologetic because they are Labour supporters.

    Justin Bieder and Taylor Swift

A quickfire round now. Owen Smith is asked which he dislikes more - being called a Tory or a "smarmy post-Tribunite non-entity", as a former colleague once described him.

    "A Tory," he insists.

When was the last time he got angry? "About 20 minutes ago."

As part of a pop culture round, he identifies a picture of Justin Bieder and Taylor Swift.

    Victoria Derbyshire

There's applause when a member of the audience attacks Labour for having "missed" an opportunity when the Conservatives were in "disarray" following the EU referendum result.

"The rest of the party should have got behind their leader," she says.

Another says "the debate is getting more and more depressing and puerile" and adds that she has faced abuse as a Corbyn supporter.
