    Martin Jones
    BBC News, West of England

The turnout figure in North East Somerset & Hanham is 69.4%

It's hard to compare directly with previous years as the boundaries of this seat have changed considerably.

But it follows a trend of lower turnout in a number of seats this time round.

Both the Bath seat and North East Somerset & Hanham are starting to count now - we're expecting results in a couple of hours.

I'm hearing from Labour activists Dan Norris is feeling "quietly confident" in his battle against Jacob Rees-Mogg - but of course no results have been announced yet.

The Green Party candidate in North Somerset is 25 years-old but got interested in politics when he was just 15.

It's the first time he's ever stood for election, and is hoping to increase the party's share of the vote.

He says he's been for a cuppa with his Conservative opponent, Sir Liam Fox, saying he believes it's worth learning from other politicians, even if their views vary.

Counting has begun in Bristol for the seats of Bristol South, East and Central.

A short while ago Labour's candidate in Bristol South arrived Karin Smyth.

The seat has been Labours since 1935, it's fair to say we are not expecting any shocks here this morning.

Counting is under way in the Thornbury & Yate constituency.

The Lib Dems are feeling confident. They last held this seat in 2010 before the then pensions minister Steve Webb lost his seat to the Conservative Luke Hall in 2015.

According to the Reform candidate here, the MP didn’t turn up to any of the hustings in the run-up to the election.

Filton & Bradley Stoke has been held by the Conservatives since it was created in 2010. Tonight it might go Labour.

In terms of fashion stakes, Labour Party supporters are certainly better colour-coordinated than anyone else here!

Hello - we're here at the Bristol North West and North East count at City Academy in Redfield.

They're interesting counts because while Bristol North West has had a Labour MP since 2017, boundary changes mean that Bristol North East is a brand new constituency.

So can Darren Jones hang on in Bristol North West and who will take the new seat of Bristol North East?
