This is of course only a poll, it's not the result, but it does sound good for Labour candidates.

Especially in Ipswich and Lowestoft - two seats that the party has been targeting.

Despite the overall poor numbers in the poll for the Tories across the country, some from the party in Suffolk may take some hope from it, it could have been worse.

The Green Party's leader Adrian Ramsey has been putting lots of effort and resource into the new Waveney Valley constituency where he is standing.

However, the exit poll predicts the party to win two seats across the UK, which could mean they miss out here.

  4. Landslide for Labour, says exit pollpublished at 22:49 British Summer Time 4 July

An exit poll for the BBC, ITV and Sky suggests there will be a landslide for Labour.
