If you're just joining us, there's been a shooting at a school in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Here’s what we know so far:
- As many as 20 people have been injured, the BBC’s US partner CBS News reports
- CBS also cites unnamed police sources as saying the shooting began close to an hour ago
- The gunman is described as a man dressed in all black and carrying a rifle
- Police say there is no longer an active shooting, as the gunman has been neutralised, but the school remains an active crime scene
- Local mayor Jacob Frey says the city’s police chief and the emergency response team have been activated
And here’s what we don’t yet know:
- The gunman’s identity or motive
- Whether there have been any fatalities
- A confirmed number of injuries
