With more than half the seats declared in Scotland, here's the latest from this general election:
- Labour have made huge gains from the SNP
- The exit poll and results since indicate Sir Keir Starmer's party is on track for a landslide victory across the UK
- Labour took the first constituency to declare, Kilmarnock and Loudon from the SNP and they have since taken 23 more
- In East Renfrewshire, SNP deputy Westminster leader Kirsten Oswald was ousted by Blair McDougall for Labour
- Kirsty Blackman and Stephen Flynn both managed to cling on to their seats for the SNP, as did Pete Wishart
- SNP leader and Scotland's First Minister John Swinney said it was a "very poor result" for his party and there would be much soul searching
- The latest BBC forecast is: Labour 405 seats; Tories 154; Lib Dems 56; SNP 6 and others 25
