We've just heard from Katherine LaNasa, who was speaking here backstage after winning the award for supporting actress.
She thanks nurses who inspired Dana Evans - her character in the medical drama The Pitt.
"Playing the role - and even just the imaginary process of being present for someone else's serious trauma - has only opened me up to, first of all, what healthcare workers are bearing for us all day, every day," she says.

Host Bargatze says charity donations are now down from $100,000 to $80,000 as winners' speeches have been going over 45 seconds.
He says he's going to hold Hannah Einbinder to her promise to pay the difference in the money for her speech going over.
"I'm gonna find her later," he said.
He also notes she swore, which was bleeped out in the telecast. He says he may start a swear jar.
Hannah Einbinder wins for supporting actress in a comedy series for her portrayal of Ava Daniels in Hacks.
"This is all so punk rock," she says in a tearful speech.
As her speech was running over time, a graphic showed money coming off the charity metre (part of Nate Bargatze's hosting duties is the threat that long speeches will mean less money for charity).
Einbinder says "I'll pay the difference" as the money winds down, then adds: "Free Palestine" before leaving the stage.
And that's another big win for Severance.
Britt Lower is taking home the award for lead actress in a drama series, for her portrayal of Helly R.

Now host Nate Bargatze is addressing the audience directly.
He says to begin, he's donating $100,000 to the boys and girls club of America. If anyone speech goes longer than 45 seconds, he will deduct $1000 away from the total amount being donated.
"I know, it's brutal," he said. "This is a game I've made up and these are rules."
He says if anyone goes under the 45 second time limit, he'll add more money to the total. Since the first winner Seth Rogen, went under that total, money was added.

In this skit, he plays a scientist introducing the concepts of television and the Emmys to the audience. He's poking fun at Severance, Hacks and even the network CBS itself.
