    Olly Murs says the next song is one of the hardest for him to sing after losing his friend, Caroline Flack.

    It is Dear Darlin' which he previously dedicated to her. He adds that he misses her dearly.

    He says he also did not realise the impact the song would have on his friends and family.

    The crowd appreciates the moment and respectfully watches the singer before he gets them involved to sing the song themselves.

    It is a tender and emotional moment we have not really seen at the festival over the past few days.

    It feels like a moment to reflect and appreciate those around us.

    "Def Leppard are coming out soon, how cool is that?

    He goes on to look into a television camera and speak to his partner watching from home: "Wife, I am so sorry I am here at Hylands Park with all these beautiful people.

    "I love you and when I'm finished I'll be straight home, I promise."

    Essex's own Olly Murs rose to fame after he appeared on the sixth series of ITV's The X Factor in 2009.

    He finished runner-up behind Joe McElderry, but it did not stop him becoming a huge star.

    In 2010 he released his debut single, Please Don't Let Me Go, which debuted at number one in the UK charts.

    Over the past 15 years he has continued to release hits like Troublemaker, Dance With Me Tonight, Kiss Me and Dear Darlin'.

    He stuck to his Essex roots too and still lives here with his partner and their children.

    Paul and Sarah Routledge travelled from south Wales to be at Radio 2 in the Park yesterday.

    They got to meet up with friend Ginnie James, 47, who also made the trip over from Wales.

    Sarah and Ginnie told us they couldn't miss it - they became friends aged seven and grew up together listening to Bryan Adams!

    Holly Petrie, 37, (right in the image) is one of the backing vocalists for Anastacia.

    Asked what her job is like, she says: “So amazing. I’ve worked with her for eight years. This is the best it’s ever been. We’ve just been on a 66-show tour and now we’re getting ready for the next one."

    Vicky O’Neon, 36, (left in the image) has played percussion in Anastacia's band for the last four years.

    "It's all strong women on this team," she says.

    "It’s been absolutely incredible.

    "Having Anastacia as a boss is incredible. She has a massive heart and she’s not afraid to show that.

    "We’re lucky."

    Anastacia’s set was definitely my highlight of the whole weekend.

    The energy from the crowd was unmatched and I definitely need to rest my vocal cords after belting out all her hits.

    I loved her Essexisms too - her Essex accent might be even better than mine and I’ve lived here my whole life!
