Anne McIntosh will stand down as Conservative MP for Thirsk and Malton after being de-selected by the party, following a long-running dispute with local officials.
Long-standing Labour MP Linda Riordan revealed she was not seeking re-election this year due to ill health. The Halifax MP, who was first elected in 2005, said it had been a "tough decision" to leave due to her rheumatoid arthritis.
