Daily Record's Anna Burnside, external: SNP campaign manager in Jim Murphy's East Renfrewshire seat has told her that their polls show an SNP win with a 10% majority - which would be a swing of 30ish%.

#GE2015 senior Labour sources say they have lost Edinburgh North East, Edinburgh East and Edinburgh South West.
Tactical voting making Edinburgh South too close to call. Labour losing 2:1 in traditional Labour areas but lots of Tories voting Labour.
Also lots of tactical voting in Lib Dem held Edinburgh West. Labour and Tory vote seems to have collapsed and may keep Lib Dem MP in place.

Former Scottish Lib Dem leader Tavish Scott says the result in Orkney and Shetland will be close.
"I think Alistair Carmichael is going to win but it is going to be pretty tight.
"The way this election is going tonight in Scotland I think it will be amazing for anyone to survive the tsunami that is the SNP vote.
"I think Scotland seems to have voted for a one-party state and Alistair may be the only one who counters that."

No sign of UKIP having any success in Scotland despite doing well in early results in England.
It is perhaps no surprise when one of their principle planks was depriving Scotland of millions of pounds of spending.
What was it Nigel Farage said? 'Cash being shovelled over Hadrian's Wall'.
You are hardly likely to impress the people of Scotland with a message of that nature.

From glancing around the counting tables, it's looking like Ronnie Cowan will win Inverclyde for the SNP from Labour's Iain McKenzie.
Conservative councillor David Wilson feels confident Tory candidate George Jabbour will be third with about 10% of the vote.
Former Lib Dem councillor Eric Forbes says his party will "take time to heal" after turnaround in policy over student fees.
But he admits that the Lib Dems' policies in Scotland will need to change to focus on Scottish issues "rather than hanging onto the coat tails of Westminster".

Liberal Democrat activists at the count in Bishopbriggs say things are "not looking good" for junior Employment Minister, Jo Swinson who has held the East Dunbartonshire seat since 2005.
She's facing a strong challenge from the SNP's John Nicolson - although the Nationalists were fourth in 2010.
