The pattern of results in Northern Ireland could end up helping the Conservatives in the event of a tightly balanced House of Commons.
Sinn Fein have so far gained two seats, and they, of course, will not turn up in the Commons.
Meanwhile Unionist parties have also made a net gain of one while the SDLP who usually take the Labour whip have lost all three seats that they were defending.
Norman Lamb celebrates after holding on to the North Norfolk seat for the Liberal Democrats.
Mr Lamb secured 25,260 votes.
James Wild, for the Conservatives, (pictured below) amassed 21,748 votes with Labour's Stephen Burke in third place, on 5,180 votes.

What we saw a few minutes ago was a very shaky Theresa May who does not expect to be walking back into Downing Street with a majority, says Laura Kuenssberg.
Her wording implied that if the Conservatives were the largest party with the largest number of votes, it will incumbent upon us to form a government...
So in the prime minister's words she chose to mention the formulation which suggests a hung Parliament.
After a recount and rumours of an upset, Lib Dem leader Tim Farron holds on in Westmorland and Lonsdale. His majority was significantly reduced.

Theresa May says the country needs a period of stability.
She says if the Conservative Party has won the most seats and the most votes "it will be incumbent on us we have that stability and that's what we will do".
She says she has always done everything in the best interests of the country.
"The country needs a period of stability and whatever the results are the Conservatives will ensure that stability so we can all as one country go together."
