  18. Labour lose deposit in Anguspublished at 02:19 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2019

    Philip Sim
    BBC Scotland political reporter

One big thing in Angus - turnout was up 4.5 points to 67.5%. Pattern seems to be emerging of turnout being up - and it being very much to the benefit of the SNP. Some of their support that stayed home in 2017 coming back to the polls?

Actually one more thing from Angus! Labour FOURTH there, having lost more than half their votes from 2017. Admittedly they weren't really in contention to win it, but they've actually lost their deposit...

Labour didn't lose their deposit in a single seat in Scotland in 2017, but with just five declared its already happened tonight...shaping up to be a grim night for them
