    Jane Stevenson, newly elected Conservative MP for Wolverhampton North East, said she was "absolutely delighted" to be representing her home town.

    “It means an enormous amount to me representing the people of the city, and especially on Brexit, where I think many have felt let down.

    “It’s all about Wolverhampton for me – the city where I was born and grew up. And it’s my intention to make myself accessible and available to the public in going forward as their MP.”

    She took the seat from Labour’s Emma Reynolds who had held the seat since 2010

    Ms Reynolds won a total of 13,642 votes, with Miss Stevenson winning by a huge majority of 17,722.

    Philip Dunne has been re-elected as the Conservative MP for Ludlow with a majority of 23,648 votes.

    The Conservatives have held the seat since 2005, when Mr Dunne was first elected.

    However he recently came under fire when he told his Labour rival at a debate he was "talking through his turban".

    The Conservatives have held Eddisbury where new MP Edward Timpson secured a majority of 18,443 votes.

    The seat was previously held by Antoinette Sandbach, who joined the Liberal Democrats earlier this year after she was expelled from the Conservative party for rebelling against Boris Johnson in a bid to prevent a no-deal Brexit.

    She received 9,582 votes for the Lib Dems, compared with Mr Timpson's 30,095 for the Conservatives.

    James Morris has been re-elected as the Conservative MP for Halesowen & Rowley Regis, which he has represented since 2010.

    Mr Morris more than doubled his majority with 12,074 votes, compared with 5,253 in 2017.

    Labour have held Coventry North West, with Taiwo Owatemi becoming a new MP with a majority of 208, compared to 8,580 last time.

    The Coventry North West constituency was created in 1974 and has always been in Labour hands. The former Treasury minister and ex-Jaguar boss Sir Geoffrey Robinson, 81, stood down this time.

    Conservative Clare Golby was second.

    The Conservatives have gained Dudley North, which has been held by Labour since it was created in 1997.

    Marco Longhi secured a majority of 11,533 votes for the Conservatives, compared to ex-Labour MP Ian Austin's majority of 30 at the 2017 election.

    Mr Austin quit the Labour Party in February and urged voters to back the Conservatives during the election campaign.

    Fiona Bruce has been re-elected as the Conservative MP for Congleton, increasing her 2017 majority of 12,619 votes to 18,561.

    Ms Bruce has been the constituency's MP since 2010, and the seat has been held by the Conservatives since it was created in 1983.

    The Conservatives have held on to their Stourbridge seat, almost doubling their majority from 7,654 votes in 2017 to 13,571.

    The constituency will be represented by a new Conservative MP, Suzanne Webb, after Margot James, who held the seat since 2010, stepped down.

    Labour have held Coventry South with Zarah Sultana becoming a new MP with a majority of 401, compared to 7,947 last time.

    Conservative Mattie Heaven was second.

    Ms Sultana apologised earlier this year for saying on social media she would "celebrate" the deaths of world leaders, including Tony Blair.

    Nicola Richards said her taking the West Bromwich East seat from the Labour Party was part of the pattern and the trend that has been seen across the West Midlands and the Black Country since 2015.

    "It has been happening in other areas and there is no reason it shouldn't have happened in Sandwell," she said.

    The Conservative returned a 7,713 majority to former Labour deputy leader Tom Watson's seat, ending decades of Labour representation.

    "People here want to be heard. I am hearing them, I understand them, I am from the Black Country and I get it."

    The Conservatives have gained Newcastle-under-Lyme, ending a century of Labour representation.

    Labour's Paul Farrelly had a majority of just 30 votes at the last election which Aaron Bell has now increased to 7,446 for the Conservatives.

    Colleen Fletcher has been re-elected as the Labour MP for Coventry North East, with a majority of 7,692.

    The former Coventry councillor polled 23,412.

    Jack Brereton has been re-elected as the Conservative MP for Stoke-on-Trent South with a majority of 11,271 votes.

    It is a huge increase on his previous majority in 2017 of 663.

    Mr Brereton was the first Conservative MP to hold the seat after his election in 2017 - prior to that it had been held by Labour since 1950.

    Owen Paterson has been re-elected with a majority of 22,949.

    He polled 35,444 and has increased his majority by more than 6,000.

    Mike Wood has been re-elected as the Conservative MP for Dudley South with a majority of 15,565 votes.

    Mr Wood has been the MP for the area, which has been held by the Conservatives since 2010, since 2015.

    The Conservatives have secured a majority of 6,286 votes in Stoke-on-Trent North, taking it from Labour for the first time since the seat was created in 1950.

    Jonathan Gullis secured 52% of the vote, taking the seat from Ruth Smeeth who has represented the area since 2015.

    Tahir Ali has been elected as the Labour MP for Birmingham Hall Green with a majority of 28,508 votes.

    The seat has been held by Labour since 1997 and had the largest majority of any party in the West Midlands in 2017's election when Roger Godsiff was standing for Labour.

    Mr Godsiff was de-selected from the party earlier this year over his support for parents in the LGBT education row and so stood as an independent, securing 4,273 votes.

    The Conservatives have taken Stoke-on-Trent Central, a seat which has been held by Labour since it was created in 1950.

    Jo Gideon secured a Conservative majority of 670 votes, making her the first Conservative MP ever to hold the seat.

    The Conservatives have won Crewe & Nantwich from Labour with a majority of 8,508 votes.

    The constituency, previously held by Labour's Laura Smith, was the UK's eighth most marginal seat in the last election with Labour winning with just 48 seats.

    Kieran Mullan, for the Conservatives, secured 53.1% of the vote.

    Jess Phillips has been re-elected as the Labour MP for Birmingham Yardley with a majority of 10,659 votes.
