Harriett Baldwin has been re-elected as the Conservative MP for Worcestershire West.

She secured a majority of 24,499 votes - up from her majority of 21,328 in 2017.

Steve McCabe has been re-elected as the Labour MP for Birmingham Selly Oak with a majority of 12,414.

Mr McCabe has held the seat since 2010, which has been Labour since 1992.

Karen Bradley has been re-elected as the Conservative MP for the Staffordshire Moorlands, increasing her majority from 10,830 in 2017 to 16,428.

The seat has been held by the Conservatives since Ms Bradley was first elected in 2010.

The Conservatives have held onto their seat in Burton where Kate Griffiths has taken the seat of her estranged husband.

Ms Griffiths secured a majority of 14,496 votes.

Former MP Andrew Griffiths stood down from frontline politics after he sent thousands of sexual messages to two women.

In 2017 Labour just about held onto its seat in Newcastle-under-Lyme but it was close: just 30 votes.

The Staffordshire seat has been represented by Labour since it was created a century ago, but the exit poll suggests that grip could be slipping.

Ten thousand potential voters are students as the constituency is home to Keele University, so where the majority is so narrow, the voice of young people really matters.

We spoke to some students there as the election campaign got underway- they told us that Brexit wasn't the main issue on their minds.

"Food banks, the NHS, a lot of homeless sleepers, and a lot of the parties are forgetting all about this and focussing purely on Brexit," Dylan Patel said, adding that Brexit was "taking all the limelight".

Valerie Vaz has been re-elected as the Labour MP for Walsall South.

The seat has been held by Labour since 1974 and represented by Ms Vaz since 2010, whose majority has dropped from 8,892 in 2017 to 3,456.

Conservative Robin Walker has increased his majority in Worcester and is re-elected with 25,856 votes.

Mark Garnier has been re-elected as the Conservative MP for Wyre Forest.

Wyre Forest has been held by the Tories since 2010 when Mr Garnier was elected.

Chancellor the Exchequer, Sajid Javid, has been re-elected as the MP for Bromsgrove.

He secured a majority of 23,106 votes - 63% - in the seat he has represented since 2010.

The Labour candidate for Redditch has said Jeremy Corbyn should stay on as leader of the Labour Party despite mounting pressure for him to resign.

“Jeremy Corbyn should stay on as Labour leader, even if he loses - he’s in it for the long haul and regardless of the result, there is a way back for Labour," Rebecca Jenkins said.

"At the next election we’ll be back fighting, getting our message across," she said. "There’s no way he should go.”

Labour's Pat McFadden has been re-elected as the MP for Wolverhampton South East.

His majority has gone down from 8,514 votes in 2017's election to 1,235.

He has represented the constituency, which has been held by Labour since it was created in 1974, since 2005.

The Conservatives have secured a majority in West Bromwich East, the former seat of Labour's deputy leader Tom Watson.

It is the first time since the constituency was created in 1974 that it hasn't been held by Labour.

Nicola Richards secured a majority of 1,593 votes.

Rachel Maclean has been re-elected as the Conservative MP for Redditch.

She was first elected as representative in 2017 and the seat has been held by the Tories since 2010.

The Conservatives have taken Wolverhampton South West from Labour with a majority of 1,661 votes.

The constituency's new MP, Stuart Anderson, takes over from Eleanor Smith, who was the West Midlands' first black female MP and has held the seat since 2017.

The Tory's hold on to Telford with an 11,000 majority.

Returning MP Lucy Allan got 25,546 votes, nearly a 60% share.

Wendy Morton has been re-elected as the Conservative MP for Aldridge-Brownhills with a majority of 19,836.

The Conservatives have secured a majority in West Bromwich West, a seat which has been held by Labour since it was created in 1974.

Shaun Bailey secured a majority of 3,799 votes - just over 50% of the vote.

A former MP has said the election has been "disastrous" for Labour.

Gareth Snell is seeking re-election for Stoke-on-Trent Central but he fears he has not got in.

"The message heard by voters is that Labour is trying to stop Brexit," he said.

"Labour had a choice... we could either stop the Tories or stop Brexit.

"Unfortunately, [the shadow cabinet] decided stopping Brexit was more important than respecting the vote in marginal constituencies in the Midlands and the North," he said.

"[They] sacrificed us for whatever political ambitions they want to do next."

Michael Fabricant has been returned as the Conservative MP for Lichfield.

Mr Fabricant has represented Lichfield since the seat was created in 1997.

Mark Pawsey has been re-elected as the Conservative MP for Rugby with a majority of 13,417 votes.

He has been the town's MP since 2010, since the seat's creation.
