  2. More on Iraq war...published at 02:49 British Summer Time 10 October 2016

Clinton calls out Trump for denying his support for the war in Iraq for the 11th or 12th time.

Trump immediately interrupts that it has never been proven and that he was always against the war in Iraq. He keeps insisting the moderators favour the Democratic candidate.

He then criticises Raddatz for letting Clinton speak for 25 seconds more than she was allotted,  before insisting that he needed to respond.

  3. Clinton: We are a country founded on religious freedompublished at 02:47 British Summer Time 10 October 2016

Raddatz asks Clinton: "We know you want tougher vetting, why take the risk of having more refugees come into the country?

She says "I will not let anyone come into our country who poses a risk to us."

But adds the US has an important role:

"There are children suffering in this catastrophic war, largely I believe because of Russian aggression, and we need to do our part."

She criticises Trump's plan for extreme vetting, noting that the US is a country founded on religious freedom.

Clinton: "What Donald Trump says about Muslims is used to recruit fighters because they want to create a war between us."

Trump: "We have many criminal illegal aliens... Hillary Clinton, when she was secretary of state, said, 'that's ok'"

  6. 'Greatest Trojan horse'published at 02:44 British Summer Time 10 October 2016

Trump speaks about the Muslim family of a dead Iraq war veteran he had a spat with on Twitter: "Captain Khan is an American hero... if I were president at the time he'd be alive today."

"I would not have had our people in Iraq, Iraq was a disaster," he said.

On his proposed Muslim ban he says: "This is the greatest Trojan horse of our time. I don't want to have hundreds of thousands of people coming in from Syria when we know nothing about their values, nothing about their love for our country."

    He calls it "extreme vetting".

  9. Reality Check: Canadians are going to US for operationspublished at 02:41 British Summer Time 10 October 2016

Graphic showing Donald Trump's claim that Canadians come into the US for big operations

Claim: Donald Trump says Canada's health care system, which he says is similar to the Afordable Care Act, known as Obamacare, is beset by delays.

Reality Check verdict: The number of Canadians who travelled abroad in 2014 to receive non-emergency medical treatment increased 25% from 2013, according to the Fraser Institute, a Canadian independent research and education organization. This suggests the health care system could not cope with needs of many Canadians. But there are several key differences between the two systems - and there is wide gulf in access to care in the US.

Graphic showing Donald Trump's quotation on Hillary Clinton's emails

Reality Check verdict: The FBI said Clinton’s team used a free software programme called BleachBit, No chemicals were used. When he first made this claim, Trump's campaign said that he did not literally mean "acid washed", adding that it was a play on words and reference to a joke made by Clinton about "wiping" her email server with a cloth. BleachBit debunked Trump’s claim on its website, external saying the software is not "very expensive," adding that it is completely free of charge.
