    Florence Iwegbue

Florence Iwegbue, a dual US-British citizen, fears Britain may be following too closely in US footsteps.

"In the US, you can't afford to be poor, sick, black or brown. This is becoming an issue in this country - and it needs to be dialled back," she says.

Ms Iwegbue, a software developer, says she's very concerned about Mr Trump's plans for the NHS as her disabled son's life heavily depends on it.

Should the Queen have hosted Mr Trump?

"Ha," says Ms Iwegbue. "I continue to respect the way the Queen throws shade."

  8. What should we make of Trump's 'stick around' comment to May?published at 13:23 British Summer Time 4 June 2019

President Trump's comment suggesting Theresa May continues her premiership and "sticks around" was only made in passing, says our assistant political editor Norman Smith.

He says: "The only reason Mr Trump is saying that is as a pleasantry. 'It would be great if I could do the deal with you', is what he is saying.

"He's not really saying, 'Mrs May I really need you to stay in place to do this deal'. He's just trying to make this a little bit easy for her."

Our correspondent says a trade deal with the US would be complicated, particularly on issues around the NHS and the US agricultural industry.

Responding to US ambassador Woody Johnson's suggestion that the NHS would have to "be on the table", a number of MPs standing for leadership said that would not be an option.

Norman Smith also says it is unclear whether a British government can concede much ground on areas such as agriculture.

Donald Trump has been rude and shown no respect to the London Mayor, says Laura Bruce, who is at the Whitehall rally on her lunch break.

Asked who she would rather see treated to a red-carpet state visit, she replied: "Jacinda Arden, New Zealand's prime minister.

She adds: "People who are progressive, thinking about people, not just themselves.

"Pretty much anyone would be better than him."

Moments before Air Force One landed at Stansted, President Trump posted two tweets criticising the mayor, Sadiq Khan - calling him a "stone cold loser".

Mr Khan has said Britain should not roll out the red carpet for the US president.

  14. Trump meeting 'an elbow in the ribs for Boris Johnson'published at 12:48 British Summer Time 4 June 2019

    Norman Smith
    Assistant political editor

A meeting with Donald Trump, if it goes ahead, would be a huge coup for Michael Gove.

Not because it is a game changer but it is a sort of elbow in the ribs for Boris Johnson.

All the thinking was that it would be Boris Johnson who was going to meet the president.

If it is Michael Gove, then it is one up for Michael Gove.
