Here I am at Park Lane in Sunderland where a giant screen has been set up for fans to watch the England v Wales match.

With two hours still to go until kick-off it feels a little like the calm before the storm.

Hopefully the rain will stop by kick off - but Bob Jackson, screen operator, says it should be a great atmosphere come rain or shine.

Today's Euro 2016 game sees England meet Wales in Lens.

But fans of the TV show Gavin and Stacey might remember England and Wales meeting a bit closer to home...

The show was partly set in Billericay, where the characters of Gavin, Smithy, Pam, Mick and family lived.

Well, for one day only, I'm channelling my inner Smithy at what could be his local here in Billericay.

Darren Crandon, 32, from Cardiff, proposed to Emma White, 24, originally from Brighton, ahead of Wales' 2-1 win against Slovakia.

He popped the question in the fan zone in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris with fans cheering as she said "yes".

They will be back in the French capital to watch today's game.

Resident Chris Farrand puts a cheeky England sign over the street name and covers the road with flags even though there is one Wales fan.

And where will Chris be watching the game? "I think we will be in a town centre pub," he said.

  9. A tale of two pubs, two villages and two countriespublished at 11:30 British Summer Time 16 June 2016

For one village in Gloucestershire, today's crunch match between England and Wales is a game of two pubs.

Redbrook in the Forest of Dean is split down the middle by the River Wye - on one side of the village, you're in England, and on the other side you're in Wales.

BBC Radio Gloucestershire's Justyn Surrall has been to the footbridge that separates the two.
