Liam Byrne has held onto the Birmingham Hodge Hill seat with a majority of over 31,000 votes.
Earlier this morning, Mr Byrne said he was predicting an increased majority with the prospect of the "biggest ever success" for Labour in the safe seat.
David Winnick, who lost his Walsall North seat this morning, said it had been an “honour and privilege” to have served his constituents.
He congratulated his Conservative opponent Eddie Hughes and said: “Democracy works in various ways. "Rough with the smooth. It's rough for us tonight.”
The 83-year-old had served Walsall North since 1979.
Jeremy Wright holds the Kenilworth & Southam seat for the Tories.
Shabana Mahmood has held the seat for Labour taking a huge proportion of the votes at 34,166.
Second place Andrew Browning for the Tories takes 5,452.
The Conservatives have comfortably held onto Lichfield.
Michael Fabricant has a majority of 18,581.
The incumbent MP for Telford, Lucy Allan, has thanked voters in the town for their "trust, their warmth, their kindness" during the campaign.
The result means that, barring a big shock, Shropshire will remain Conservative.
Steve McCabe has held the Birmingham Selly Oak seat for Labour, taking double the number of votes as his Tory counterpart, Sophie Shrubsole.
Wendy Morton has held her seat in Aldridge-Brownhills taking more than double the votes of second place Labour.
Labour's Matt Western has taken the Warwick and Leamington seat from the Conservatives.
We've not seen many seats changed hands so far and Stafford is the latest constituency to be held by the Conservatives.
Jeremy Lefroy has seen his majority fall from 9,177 at the last election to 7,729.
The Conservative's have defended their slim majority in the Telford constituency.
Lucy Allan went into the election with a majority of just 730 and was returned with a majority of 720.
Culture Secretary Karen Bradley has held onto the Staffordshire Moorlands for the Conservatives.
