  1. St Albans votes 'lost'published at 22:22 British Summer Time 26 May 2019

    Charlotte Rose
    BBC Essex

There may be a delay here at the count in Chelmsford as it would appear some papers have gone missing.

The tally for St Albans would appear to be incorrect so they may have to go back and try and find those votes.

There may have to be a recount, a word no-one wants to hear at this point of the evening.

  2. Brexit Party 'done well in North East'published at 22:22 British Summer Time 26 May 2019

    Mat Trewern
    BBC Radio Manchester journalist

At the count in Manchester, both the Tories and Labour are bracing themselves for a big drop due to Brexit, or rather the lack of Brexit.

The Brexit Party are hoping to pick up a lot of votes and there is also a lot of interest in Tommy Robinson who is standing as an independent here.

We are expecting the North West result between 23:30 BST and 00:30 BST.

  5. West Midlands count 'done and dusted'published at 22:15 British Summer Time 26 May 2019

The West Midlands count is all done and dusted here in Birmingham.

All the candidates were quite recently taken off into a back room.

We are certainly going to get the Birmingham result fairly shortly and they are fairly confident we will get the regional result sharply after that.

The Brexit Party are looking supremely confident.
