    We're wrapping up our coverage of flooding across the West Midlands.

    Today, we've seen:

    • Hundreds of roads submerged by floodwater with dozens of cars trapped
    • Train passengers have had an evening of disruption with several railway lines blocked
    • More than 100 schools shut across the region and homes were flooded in Shipston-on-Stour, Warwickshire
    • Dozens of flood warnings remain in place this evening and the Environment Agency's warned of more flooding overnight

    Parents are already being warned some school transport services in Herefordshire will be disrupted on Friday due to the flooding.

    Among the issues already on the Herefordshire Council website are that there'll be no Yeomans services to Eardisland or Dilwyn Common.

    The coach service to all Hereford sixth form or further education colleges is also cancelled on Friday.

    There are dozens of flood warnings across the West Midlands this evening, external with the majority in Birmingham, Herefordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire.

    Train passengers are continuing to face severe delays and cancelled services this evening as the bad weather and flooding's disrupting many railway lines.

    Several lines are blocked, with National Rail Enquiries unable to say when it expects disruption to end. , external

    Earlier this evening, both Network Rail and British Transport Police urged people, external in the West Midlands not to travel by rail unless "absolutely necessary".

    While drivers are being warned about flooding in large parts of the West Midlands, there's an alert over snow falling and settling in parts of the Peak District in Staffordshire tonight.

    Travel data firm Inrix says there are hazardous conditions on the A53 between Flash and Buxton, Derbyshire.

    The Environment Agency's new Broadway flood defence scheme in Worcestershire has been doing its job today.

    The idea is it collects water to stop if flowing into nearby Broadway and Childswickham

    The 18-acre field can hold the equivalent of 55 Olympic swimming pools and the £4m defence was built after flooding in 2007.

  13. 'Multiple' vehicles stuck in floodwater in Warwickshirepublished at 19:58 Greenwich Mean Time 14 November 2019

    Fire crews are being called out this evening in Warwickshire to "multiple" cases of vehicles stuck in floodwater.

    The fire service said the areas were mainly in and around Wellesbourne, Langley and Wootton Wawen.

    There are two flood warnings on the River Dene, external in those areas.

  14. City road shut for installation of flood pumpspublished at 19:51 Greenwich Mean Time 14 November 2019

    They're preparing for flooding in Worcester this evening.

    The county council has closed Hylton Road in the city , externalfor about three hours so flood pumps can be installed.

  16. 'Most inland Sea Scout group in the country' is floodedpublished at 19:30 Greenwich Mean Time 14 November 2019

    A hut used by Sea Scouts at Newbold in Warwickshire has also seen flooding today.

    The group proudly claims to be the most inland Royal Navy recognised Sea Scout group in the country, but said "we are not used to being on the water in our hut".

    While the worst of the flooding seems to be in Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Warwickshire, there is some elsewhere in the West Midlands.

    The aptly named Watery Lane in Solihull has been closed due to flooding.

    West Midlands Police tweeted, external it was shut from Knowle to Chadwick End and a number of cars had been abandoned in the floodwater.
