Nearly 24,000 meals have been handed out to people in need across Blackpool during the coronavirus outbreak as part of a council-led emergency support programme.
Twelve operational hubs are now in place as part of the town hall’s Corona Kindness project to support the town’s most vulnerable residents, according to the Local Democracy Reporting Service.
The free school meals service has also helped to feed thousands of people.
Last week the Corona Kindness helpline received 1,174 emails, 460 calls and more than 200 offers of help from Blackpool residents, with the council contacting 300 people needing assistance.

It is "selfish to travel" during the UK's lockdown period, a hospital boss has said.
Kate Shields, chief executive of Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust said: "People need to stay at home, they need to look after themselves and through that they will look after others and we will reduce deaths."
The newly-elected Labour leader, Sir Keir Starmer, has called for the government to be transparent about its strategy on the UK's lockdown.
He said the public needed to know the "principles" that would have to be met before the nationwide measures were lifted.

Two children staged a back garden wedding ceremony for their parents - after the official event was cancelled by the coronavirus pandemic.
Kim-Marie Gerrard, from Cheddleton in Staffordshire, was set to marry her partner Mark Tooth on Thursday.
So rather than miss out, their two children Ruby and Louis stepped in as master of ceremonies and official photographer.
Two more residents have died at a County Durham care home after showing coronavirus symptoms, taking the total to six.
Bosses at Stanley Park, in Stanley, confirmed they had been suffering from fevers. Their families have been informed.
As we reported yesterday, a number of residents are being isolated and staff have been given protective kit.
In all, the home has facilities for 72 residents. It is not known how many are ill.

Beds Police Rural tweeted, external that the new recruit wanted to wish "everyone a Happy Easter".

Image source, Matt BairdA Bristol man has raised £1,600 for NHS Charities Together by completing a half-Ironman triathlon in his back garden.
Matt Baird completed a 1.9km swim with his feet tethered to the end of a garden pool, a 90km ride on a static bike and a 21.1km run, which equated to 1,406 lengths of his garden, finishing in a time of six hours and 40 minutes.
Matt said: "The run was the best bit as we had my neighbours cheering, 1990s hits on the stereo and my boys Alfie and Elliott supplying me with wine gums and high-fives.
"I finished just after the 8pm clap for the NHS and jumped back into the paddling pool."

Residents in Cornwall are being urged to report any signs of second homes in use over the bank holiday weekend.
Cornwall Council said people should contact the authority to allow its "enforcement teams" to deal with the situation, as well as being reported to the police.
Reports of "unnecessary travel" or "individuals causing issues" should only be directed to the police, it said.
Councillor Rob Nolan said the authority "strongly discouraged" people from approaching individuals directly.

Anya, from Northumberland, began presenting the videos of cake recipes for her friends to "make them happy".

The stars of Homeland and Peaky Blinders have raised almost £1m after launching the Feed NHS scheme in London and are now planning to roll it out across other UK cities.
"The public have been incredible," Lewis told the Coronavirus Newscast.
