Hertfordshire Police say the death of a man, believed to be David Edmunds from St Albans, is "not thought to be suspicious".
The body of the man was found by a member of the public this afternoon in an area off Redbourn Road.
Mr Edmunds, 35, went missing from his home in Maple Avenue on 14 January.

Drugs with an estimated street value of £2m have been recovered from a van on the M1 near J9 in Bedfordshire.
A man has been charged with possession of cocaine with intent to supply after 40kg (88lbs) of what's believed to be class A drugs were found in the Ford Connect van when it was stopped by police on the motorway yesterday at 12:15.
Officers went on to search an address in Borehamwood in Hertfordshire and seized three firearms and a "substantial" amount of cash.

A man out sledging with his children in Akeley, Bucks, found a sheep stuck in a deep hole on Sunday, but couldn't pull her out.
So he called the RSPCA, external and they called the fire service, external and, between them, they managed to pull the ewe to safety.
The sheep had grazed her back legs and was very cold and weak, but her human rescuers stayed with her for an hour until she managed to walk over to the rest of the flock, apparently no worse the wear for her ordeal.

The section of the River Riz through Bancroft Recreation Ground in Hitchin is to be restored at the cost of £31,433, following a decision by North Hertfordshire District Council, external.
The project will restore its appearance and transform it into a more natural free-flowing river.
It's part of plans, agreed in January 2014, to regenerate the recreation ground and will include planting waterside plants, removing some of the concrete structures and slabs, and widening some parts of the river.
The adult minor services unit at Watford Hospital's A&E has re-opened, West Hertfordshire Hospitals Trust, external has tweeted, external.
It had been suspended because of pressures on the department after a large number of seriously ill patients presented themselves for treatment.

Two men have appeared at St Albans Crown Court to deny charges relating to a dog attack at a farm in Hertfordshire.
A woman was seriously injured by two German Shepherds at Warren Farm in Great Amwell last October.
Nijamul Islam, 42, from Edgware, and Mijanur Malik, 21, from Edmonton, pleaded not guilty to owning dogs that were dangerously out of control and causing unnecessary suffering to animals.
A body has been found which is believed to be that of missing St Albans man, David Edmunds.
The discovery was made this afternoon in an area off the Redbourn Road, near to the former Punch Bowl Pub.
Mr Edmunds, 35, went missing from his home in Maple Avenue on 14 January.

Yesterday we told you Bedfordshire Police was launching an email address for the public to submit information about off-road bikers - well, here it is; people should contact Operation Meteor, external at opmeteorinbox@bedfordshire.pnn.police.uk, external.
Residents can submit in-depth descriptions of the activity and culprits they witness, as well as photographs and video and the names and details of any people they suspect to be involved.
Chief Insp, Sean Quinn, said: "We recognise that Bedfordshire residents are frustrated and frightened by this issue and that’s exactly why we are investing in a new approach."
Latest figures show more than 70,000 drivers were fined for speeding in 30mph zones in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire last year.

As reported in Beds on Sunday, Bedford Borough Council has said plans to scrap separate dog waste bins, external and ask owners to use the usual litter bins instead will "increase efficiency and save taxpayers money".
It said a small number of bins had already been labelled as dual use "with no issues or concerns being raised or experienced".
A spokeswoman said it was "consulting on increasing the number of standardised bins for dual use with litter and dog waste in suitable areas" - a move it estimates will save £30,000.

Dog waste bins could become a thing of the past as a council may stop separate dog waste collection, external.
As part of the 2015/16 budget cut proposals, Bedford Borough Council is proposing switching to having dual use bins for both litter and dog waste, saving it £30,000.
There will be plenty of decent sunshine during the afternoon., while winds will be light. However, it will still feel cold, especially in sheltered and rural spots around Bedford.

A wall in Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire, has been left unstable after a car crashed into it and then drove off without stopping.
Thames Valley Police, external believe the black Volkswagen Tiguan failed to negotiate a right hand bend on Rogers Lane and collided with a house on Monday at 19:45, causing major damage.
