    BBC Local Live

It shows that if you don't ask, you don't get...

Fourteen pupils from Castle Newnham School in Bedford recently visited the site after a member of the student news team, Duncan, asked if they could visit Hybrid Air Vehicles to see what goes on behind the massive hangar doors.

They found out it's called the Airlander 10 as it has the ability to carry 10 tonnes of cargo.

Teacher Ms Carlie, said: "No-one had realised it was quite so big."

She also confirmed the visit sparked their interest, as Duncan is now "determined to follow a similar career path".

But they couldn't get any confirmation on when it will be back in the skies - only that it will be "soon".

The U18 side has outperformed the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal to reach this stage in the competition and are playing Aston Villa at Villa Park on Saturday.

Coach Roy Bleau has told the BBC that training was going "really well" and the boys were "looking good" - but what is the secret of their success?

"I keep saying to people, the secret is really like most things in life - hard work," he said.

"We've been working hard at it, the boys are obviously talented because you can't get this far if you're not, [but] they've bought into everything that we've done with them.

"On certain occasions you need a bit of luck here and there, which we've had, but fundamentally they're good players and they've been playing to their potential."

  12. Sean Dyche will 'park' his attachment to Hornetspublished at 14:33 Greenwich Mean Time 3 February 2017

    BBC Local Live

At the end of an emotional week for the Hornets, former Watford player and manager Sean Dyche said he must leave his sense of attachment to the club "parked" when his Burnley side play at Vicarage Road on Saturday.

The match takes place three days after the funeral of Graham Taylor, who was Watford's chairman when the former Hornets centre-back Dyche was promoted from coaching staff to his first managerial job in 2011.

He has already stressed the respect he has for Watford, even after being dismissed as manager by the new Italian owners after one season.

He said: "The fact is I had some very good years at that club, including with Graham for a year when I was manager.

"So there is a lot of attachment - but it is parked before we play them on Saturday, I can assure you."

Dyche, who attended the funeral, said of Wednesday's service: "They are not easy affairs, of course, for anyone, and not when you have got someone who is so big for what he has done in the game.

"I thought it was handled fantastically well by all."

  17. Giant water storage tank being built at Grafham Waterpublished at 13:03 Greenwich Mean Time 3 February 2017

    Adam Jinkerson
    BBC Local Live

Anglian Water has announced £425m of investment over the next year that it says is needed to keep taps running in one of the UK's driest areas.

Part of the investment is a brand new storage tank at Grafham Water, which will hold the equivalent of 16 Olympic-sized swimming pools of water.

Construction on the mega structure is now finished, with the tank set to be in use by early March.

We were given access yesterday, before the lid was sealed shut...

The "resilience tank" took a year and a half to construct. It's held up by 90 pillars and stands at 5m (16ft) tall - about the height of a double decker bus.

Anglian Water says bills will rise by about 2% to cover the cost of the investment.

However, a spokesman for the company says bills are still lower than they were four years ago.

    BBC Sport

Boothroyd, 45, took charge for the U21 side's final two Euro 2017 qualifiers and secured qualification for this summer's finals in Poland.

"I've been at the FA three years; this is the logical next step," he said.

Boothroyd was in charge of Watford for three seasons from 2005, initially saving the club from relegation to the third tier before leading them to the top flight in 2006. The Vicarage Road side finished bottom of the Premier League the following season.

He later took charge of Northampton Town in November 2011 with the side bottom of League Two. Boothroyd guided them to safety, and the play-offs the next season, before being sacked in 2013 with the club once again last in the fourth tier.

After his sacking from the Cobblers he joined the FA's coaching staff.
