Tesco job losses in Hertfordshire and Indiapublished at 12:07 British Summer Time 28 June 2017
Tesco has confirmed it's axing 1,200 jobs at its offices in Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, and in Bangalore, India.
The supermarket giant would not confirm how many jobs are being cut in Hertfordshire, but staff were told this morning that 25% of employees in Welwyn and Hatfield will go.

Tesco is in the midst of a turnaround plan under chief executive Dave Lewis.
It follows on from last week's announcement of 1,100 job losses at Tesco's call centre in Cardiff.
