People stuck in the traffic have been calling BBC Radio Berkshire with what they can see at one of the two problem spots on the M4 this morning.

I have just passed by the scene of the accident on junction 7 and it looks pretty chaotic certainly going westbound. Coming off the slip road at junction 7 the road is completely closed and the emergency services are attending to a vehicle fire. One lane of the motorway is also closed and traffic is queuing beyond junction 6 towards the M25.

The M4 has been closed between J13 and J14 westbound since 02.45GMT due to an accident involving two lorries. There are two miles of queues and diversions in place.
There is also one lane closed at J7 westbound due to another accident involving three cars.
