A Walsall store selling nursery and childcare products has stopped trading and plans to go into liquidation, an insolvency firm said.
Customers of Kiddisave said they had paid hundreds of pounds for prams and buggies which had not been delivered.
Kay Possard, of WP Mayfield insolvency practitioners, said she expected to be formally appointed as liquidator at a directors meeting on 3 December. The firm has been unavailable for comment.
A prison officer from Burntwood who plotted with an inmate to smuggle in steroids, external has himself been jailed by a judge.
The Royal train pulled into Birmingham today, before The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh officially opened the revamped New Street Station and visited Grand Central and the school of dentistry in Edgbaston.

West Brom boss Tony Pulis says he would no longer be in football management if he had not learned to adapt in the way he handles players.
The 57-year-old Baggies head coach has been a manager for over 23 years - or fast approaching 1,000 football matches - at eight different clubs.
"It's become a lot different to what it used to be," he told BBC WM.
"But, unless you're prepared to change, if I had not adapted, then Tony Pulis wouldn't be in football."

Plans to put a supermarket on a Sandwell pub's car park have been refused for a second time.
The Co-op's plans for the Haden Cross Inn in Cradley Heath were first knocked back in January, but they then submitted a slightly altered design to the borough council.
During the battle regulars managed to make the pub an asset of community value - meaning they would have six months to try and buy it, if it came up for sale.

Edith Pamplin, from Manchester, and Margaret Kittle, from Canada, brought gifts in case they were able to meet the Queen in Birmingham earlier.
Margaret said: "It's the Queen's 68th wedding anniversary tomorrow, so I brought her this plate from when her mother and father came to Canada in 1939."
Edith said: "I had these flowers made specially. I'm sorry I didn't get to give them to her, but it was wonderful to see her."
