BBC Midlands TodayWest Midlands' manufacturers are experiencing a difficult end to the year, according to a new survey.
Of the firms questioned in the region, 8% told the manufacturer's organisation EEF there had been a decline in their output this quarter.

EEF chief economist Lee Hopley said that the findings were a "disappointing end to the year".
She said the collapse in the oil price, slower world trade growth and weaker-than-expected construction activity had all contributed to weaker manufacturing activity.

Police are appealing for help in tracking down the driver, external of a car that killed a woman in a hit-and-run in Handsworth.
Surinder Kaur, 61, died after being hit on Soho Road at about 17:50 on 4 December.

Young people in the Black Country face some of the worst provision of careers and enterprise support, according to a report.
A study by the Careers and Enterprise Company (CEC) identified the area as one of their "cold spots" in England.

The funeral's been taking place this morning of a schoolboy who raised thousands of pounds for charity before dying of cancer.
Finlay Church, 11, from Alvechurch, was diagnosed with a brain tumour last year.
Since then, more than £100,000 has been raised for Birmingham Children's Hospital and Brain Tumour Research.

BBC News OnlineTheunion representing workers at Cadbury's chocolate factory reacts with angeras its parent company has not paid UK corporation tax.
The Sunday Times reported, external Mondelez International "lawfully avoided tens of millions of pounds" of tax since its takeover of Cadbury five years ago.
Image source, APMondelez announced 200 job losses at its Bournville plant in January and in 2011 reneged on a promise to keep its Somerdale plant open.
Unite union regional officer Joe Clarke said: "Nifty footwork by clever accountants meant that the Treasury was denied millions of pounds in corporation tax that could have been spent on the NHS and other much-needed public services.

Reporter, BBC WMThe Duke of Cambridge was at Birmingham’s Centenary Square earlier today, for the unveiling of 10 slabs laid in memory of Victoria Cross recipients in the city.
Prince William also met some relatives of those VC winners, who were all awarded for their actions in the first world war.
The Duke was introduced to pupils from Cofton Primary School (pictured), who presented him with a picture and home-made toys for his children Princess Charlotte and Prince George.
