Latest disruption on the roads at the moment include: 

- One lane is closed on the M6 northbound between J8 M5 in Birmingham and J10a M54 in Staffordshire because of technical fault.

 - One lane is closed on the M42 northbound between J2, A441 (Alvechurch) and J3, A435 (Portway) following an accident.

- There are delays on the M6 southbound between J10a M54 and J8 M5. Travel time is around 30 minutes.

A mainly dry start with some brightness, but cloud and rain will gradually spread south east during the day, although many places will have a dry morning. 

A very windy day with gales possible at times, with highs of 11C (52F).
