    The M6 southbound has reopened following an accident involving three vehicles and a truck between J3 and J2.

  2. Boy, 11, questioned by police after pencil sharpener blade injurypublished at 10:23 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March 2016

    An 11-year-old boy is suspected of injuring a fellow pupil with a blade from a pencil sharpener.

    West Midlands Police says officers are speaking to the boy after another 11-year-old boy was left with a leg injury. The incident happened at Moseley Park School, in Bilston, on 2 March.

    The suspect has been referred to the youth offenders team at Wolverhampton police.

    Highways England says all lanes are closed on the M6 between J3 for Nuneaton and J2 for Coventry at the moment due to the three-car crash but normal traffic conditions are expected by around 11:00, external.

    Breaking

    A 31-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was found stabbed multiple times in Sutton Coldfield.

    West Midlands Police say , externalMatthew Bennett of Blaydon Avenue is due to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court later.

    The 59-year-old victim is in a critical but stable condition.

    Diversions have been put in place on the M6 southbound near junction 3-2 after an accident closed the carriageway.

    The M6 is closed southbound between J3, A444 (Nuneaton) and J2, M69 (Coventry), because of a serious accident involving three vehicles. 

    There are severe delays around J4, M42 (Coleshill).

    Birmingham is launching a scheme to make it easier for people relocating to the area.

    The city's undergoing several major developments, some of which are offering space for firms like HSBC, which will be moving there by 2019.

    The service, which claims to be the first of its kind in the the UK, external, will be a one stop shop for advice on property, schools, healthcare and leisure destinations. 

    It's being launched by Marketing Birmingham and the city council.
