A man from Birmingham is among three more England fans jailed for their part in the violence in Marseillle. 

Ashley Kelly, 26, was imprisoned for three months and given a two-year ban from France for throwing seven bottles outside the stadium. 

The court in the French city heard the construction worker is a single father who lives with his parents. 

A man has been jailed for 12 weeks for beating his dog with a pole.

Joginder Singh, of Cherry Orchard Road, Handsworth Wood, Birmingham, was caught on film hitting his pet in October last year, causing the dog's ribs to puncture his lungs.

When RSPCA officers went to his home, the animal could not move and vets feared he would not survive.

Singh, 41, admitted causing unnecessary suffering to the Staffordshire bull terrier, now called Samson, and failing to meet the dog's needs.

He was also banned from keeping animals for 10 years, by magistrates in Birmingham.

A man has been summonsed to appear in court after a police officer spotted him in television pictures of the Marseille disorder. 

Daniel Warlow is accused of being involved in the trouble which erupted in the French port city on the opening day of the Euro 2016 football tournament on Friday. 

England fans had gathered in the city ahead of the Three Lions' first match of the tournament against Russia. 

A West Midlands Police spokeswoman confirmed a UK-based "spotter" had seen the 24-year-old, from Spring Meadow, Tipton, who has since returned to the UK. 

He has been summonsed to appear at Birmingham Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, where he could face a five-year football banning order.

The 24-year olds both featured in the Birmingham Bears’ triumphant T20 Blast campaign, but have not really been able to force their way into the county’s first-team plans since then.

With the emergence of Sam Hain and more recently Andy Umeed, along with the return of Ian Bell and Jonathan Trott to regular Bears’ duty, Warwickshire’s depth in the batting department made it increasingly difficult for Coleman and Webb to break through.
