    Parents of pupils at a Birmingham school are holding a protest march this morning against plans to shut it. 

    The trust that runs Baverstock Academy in Druids Heath is consulting on plans to close the site by August 2017. 

    It's been in special measures since an Ofsted inspection two years ago and is said to have a hole in its budget of half a million pounds.

    Former Birmingham City owner Carson Yeung has lost his final appeal against his money laundering conviction and has been returned to prison. 

    The judgement has been made by the Hong Kong Court of Final Appeal. 

    Yeung still has shares in the club's parent company but he's now banned from being a director of a football club under EFL rules.

    Stilyan Petrov is being backed to play a big part for Aston Villa this season after making an amazing return to the team. 

    He has played his first game for the club in more than four years following his battle with leukaemia. 

    Stan, as he's known to fans, is in pre-season training and featured in Villa's 8-0 win against Graz in Austria over the weekend.

    Post mortem examinations are due to be carried out today after the deaths of five men at a recycling plant in Birmingham.

    Part of a concrete wall collapsed on the workers at Hawkeswood Metal Recycling in Nechells last Thursday. 

    It took until Friday afternoon for all five bodies to be recovered from the site. 

    More than £22,000 has been raised for the men's families thanks to donations from across the country.

    - One lane closed and very slow traffic on M42 northbound before J6, A45 (Birmingham Airport), because of a broken-down car

    - Traffic is slow on the M6 Toll southbound between J2t, A446 (Coleshill) and J1t, M42 (Curdworth), because of a broken-down vehicle. All lanes have been re-opened but drivers are warned to expect delays

    - There's slow traffic on the A38(M) Aston Expressway inbound in Birmingham between M6 J6, Spaghetti Junction and A38, Dartmouth Circus
