    Christmas has come early for schools in Birmingham thanks to BBC Reclaim Sport - a campaign that has been run by BBC Get Inspired especially for this year's Sports Personality of the Year..

    That's all for our coverage on the riot at HMP Birmingham.

    Here's a summary of what happened:

    • Authorities were alerted to a disturbance in the prison at 09:00 GMT with inmates reportedly taking over two wings after keys were taken from a guard
    • Unconfirmed reports suggested a prisoner had been stabbed in the melee
    • G4S, which runs the prison, confirmed at about 14:00 that four wings had been taken by inmates
    • Several 'Tornado squads' of specialist officers then gathered outside the prison before entering at about 20:00
    • Riot teams restored order to all four wings just after 22:30

    In a statement, the Ministry of Justice says: "After intervening at 20:35, the four wings affected were brought under Prison Service control, with all prisoners secured shortly after 22:00. 

    "All prison staff are accounted for, with no reported injuries.

    "One prisoner sustained injuries that required hospital treatment. There are thought to be no other serious injuries reported."

    It is believed one prisoner who was hurt during the 12-hour riot at HMP Birmingham was taken to hospital with a fractured jaw and broken eye socket.

    No other injuries have been reported, following the disturbance that kicked off at about 09:00 GMT.

    Prison wings are now being inspected to see the scale of the damage after prisoners took over four wings of the category B prison in the Winson Green area of the city.
