A Tamworth mother-of three was relaxing on a sun lounger with her partner when she was shot in the chest and neck by a terrorist gunman in a Tunisian hotel massacre, an inquest has heard.
Suzanne Davey and her partner Scott Chalkley, of Chaddesden, Derby, were killed when Seifeddine Rezgui opened fire on the beach at the Mediterranean resort of Sousse in June 2015.
Ms Davey, aged 43,would have died very quickly after losing consciousness from being shot in the chest and neck, the court heard.
Mr Chalkley, 42, was shot in the chest, abdomen and pelvis, a post mortem showed. The couple had met while they both worked at Severn Trent Water.
Ms Davey's son Conor Fulford remembered her as caring, supportive and always willing to solve any problem with her "do-good attitude."
Speaking outside court, Conor Fulford said the inquests were "important" in allowing his family to move on.
