    Tony Pulis cut his teeth as a manager at Bournemouth.  He signed Eddie Howe.  Now the Cherries boss needs to learn  valuable lessons, external  from his old mentor in how to handle a team sinking in the top flight and refloat them.

    Pulis has made a career of keeping Premier League clubs up from troubled positions through sheer organisation.

    I'm not saying Eddie doesn't have those qualities. He does. But this is the first time his team looks in real trouble at this level. He needs to pull defenders with fine individual spirit into a more cohesive unit.

    The woman who was killed when she was hit by debris in storm force winds in Wolverhampton yesterday has been described her as "irrepressibly optimistic, kind and full of ideas".

    He was 23 years old when he was killed by lightning while playing for Highgate United.

    The 29 year old Stafford woman killed when she was hit by debris during Storm Doris in Wolverhampton has been called a "shining star" by a colleague.

    Katharine Clough, director of external relations at the University of Wolverhampton, where Tahnie Martin worked, said: "We feel privileged and honoured to have worked alongside Tahnie.

    "She was one of our shining stars, a talented and creative marketing professional with an enthusiasm and smile which were infectious.

    "Tahnie was extremely popular and will be hugely missed."

    Tahnie Martin's employer has today paid tribute to the 29 year old who died in Wolverhampton city centre during Storm Doris yesterday.

    University of Wolverhampton vice-chancellor, Professor Geoff Layer, said: “We are all deeply saddened by this tragic loss.

    “During Tahnie’s short time at the university, she made a real impact both in a professional and personal capacity.

    "She became a very popular member of the team and was highly valued.”
