    A 27-year-old man and two teenagers aged 16 and 17 continue to be questioned on suspicion of child abduction following their arrest yesterday.

    Two teenage girls were found in Washwood Heath early yesterday morning after being reported missing on Friday. 

    The girls, aged 13, vanished after getting off the number 97 bus on Garrison Lane in Bordesley Green.

    They are said to be safe and well and are receiving specialist support.

    Virtual reality technology is being trialled in Birmingham to help football clubs detect a player's concussion within seconds.

    The family of the late West Bromwich Albion legend Jeff Astle have campaigned for the football world to recognise the link between dementia and the impact of heading a ball.

    The BBC has had exclusive access to the new technology at the University of Birmingham and took it to show a Premier League club for the first time.
