The prison sentence of 59-year-old Ian Paterson has been increased by five years.
The decision to increase it to 20 years was met with satisfaction by some of his victims and their relatives.
The judge said she found it as difficult as the original trial judge, but thought 15 years was unduly lenient because of his breach of trust - telling patients they had cancer when they didn't.
There were 10 victims but we know there were many, many more who weren't part of this court case.
And we still don't know why he did what he did - for financial gain or sense of power he had over patients?
Lady Justice Hallett ultimately said his original sentence of 15 years just wasn't big enough and 20 years was the necessary sentence given the totality of the offences.
He was found guilty of 17 counts of wounding with intent and three of unlawful wounding.

The Court of Appeal has been told actions of disgraced breast surgeon Ian Paterson was so serious and exceptional that 15 years in jail is not enough.
Solicitor General Robert Buckland tells Court of Appeal that Paterson should have much longer sentence - above upper range of guidelines.
The former surgeon, who carried out a string of unnecessary operations on his patients, is appearing via video link from HMP Nottingham and appears to be taking notes, occasionally shaking his head.
Buckland says his 15-year sentence is "unduly lenient" and should be jailed for at least 20 years.
The Appeal Court Panel has retired to consider its ruling on whether to increase his sentence.
