Striker Benik Afobe says he was reduced to tears on transfer deadline day when he knew he would be returning to Wolves on loan from Bournemouth.
Tears of happiness that is.
Image source, Getty ImagesThe 24-year-old scored 23 goals in 48 appearances during his first spell at Molineux before joining the Cherries in January 2016.
He agreed the deal on Wednesday's deadline day and could make his return to the side in tomorrow night's game with Sheffield United.
Quote MessageThat six hours was probably the most difficult of my life because that's how much I wanted to come back to Wolves. I was in my car crying when they told me that the deal was on with 20 minutes to go because I knew there was no going back now."
