A fire station in Wolverhampton is warning people to be vigilant against people posing as firefighters to gain access to homes in the Oxley area of the city.
It said staff would not attend properties without an appointment and will always have ID.

Wolves are back in action at Molineux tonight against Norwich, as they try to build their lead at the top.
Striker Leo Bonatini and midfielder Romain Saiss are both in contention, but Saiss, along with Ruben Neves, is just one yellow card away from 10 cautions and an automatic two-game suspension.
Wolves, 11 points clear at the top, start the night 27 points better off than Norwich.

Work on a new £7m business park on the edge of Ross on Wye will start this year and could bring 1,000 new jobs to the county.
The Model Farm Enterprise Park has been given planning permission today, external and it's hoped it will attract businesses to invest in Herefordshire.

Adrian Stewart was a young criminal who spent 10 years behind bars.
But when he got a place at the Northern Racing College three ago, it transformed him.
He now works as a groom at the Helshaw Grange equestrian centre at Stoke Heath, near Market Drayton.
This week he was awarded a newcomer award at the Godolphin Stud and Stable Awards in London.

Plans to supply Stoke-on-Trent with 400 new council houses in the next two years will be discussed at a council meeting next Tuesday. , external
Fortior Homes, which has the contract to supply social housing for the city council, says the plans also include creating a £68m property portfolio over the next 10 years.
Councillors hope it'll make Stoke-on-Trent a place where people want to live, work and visit.

The victims, aged in their 70s and 80s, were targeted on Monday and Tuesday. Police said they had received a phone call from a man claiming to be a police officer.

The mum of a Halesowen boy who's set to undergo a life-changing amputation says she's been overwhelmed by the support they've received from the community.
Daniel Webster, who is nine, was diagnosed with a rare desmoid tumour in his right hip and thigh four years ago and must now have his leg amputated.
His mum, Trina Webster, says knowing he's going to have the operation has made Daniel more positive about life.

A second man has been arrested over the stabbing of a 20-year-old man found in a Portsmouth street.
The man, from Birmingham, was found with serious injuries in Middle Street shortly before midnight on Saturday.
A 23-year-old man, from London, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
A 21-year-old London man previously arrested on the same charge was later released with no further action to be taken.

A UKIP MEP for the West Midlands is to face a standards hearing after calling the Mayor of Dudley a "crony in a Dick Whittington costume".
The comments were made in a Facebook video, uploaded after a disagreement at a meeting of the local authority where Bill Etheridge is also a councillor.
Mr Etheridge also referred to other members of the council as "morons" but has refused to apologise, saying the comments are "entirely accurate".
If the authority’s standards committee agrees the comments breach its code of conduct, he could face limited sanctions, such as losing the use of council IT equipment.

Three men were involved in a disturbance on Barpool Road, Nuneaton, at 09:45 yesterday, where one was fatally injured.
