An '"intense" lorry fire has closed the M5 southbound between junctions three and four, said the Highways Agency.
Fire officers are at the scene working to extinguish the blaze.
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses after two young brothers were killed in a suspected hit and run in Coventry yesterday.
The boys aged two and six, died after the collision on MacDonald Road at 14:00.
A car was found abandoned a short time later.

A 53-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman remain in custody on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and drink-driving, said police investigating a suspected hit-and-run crash in which two brothers, six and two, died.
A six-year-old boy hurt in the suspected hit-and-run crash in which his two-year-old brother was killed has also died, West Midlands Police said.
Two people have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

A man who sexually assaulted five women has been sentenced to 18 months in prison and placed on the sex offenders register for 10 years.
Benjamin Clarke, 42, of Walsall Road, Little Aston, pleaded guilty to nine counts of sexual assault.
At Stafford Crown Court on Wednesday, he was sentenced for the offences which took place between 2015 and 2017.
Ch Insp Sarah Wainwright said: "I would personally like to thank his victims for their courage in coming forward to report these crimes and hope that the fact Clarke is now behind bars brings them some comfort."

A local resident, who preferred not to give her name, said the aftermath of the crash included a "smashed" pushchair in the road alongside a child's scooter.
"The police had taped the road off and there was debris all over the road," she told the Press Association.
"I was advised not to go near as the kids were still on the road and I had my young girls.
"I just keep thinking if my hairdresser was not late it could have been me and my girls crossing that road."
