A double amputee says he's been waiting for more than two years for a stairlift to his first floor apartment.
Stephen Sadler, who has lost an arm and a leg, says he has to crawl down a shared staircase to leave. He is also awaiting modifications to his bathroom.
When he bought the flat on the outskirts of Hereford he was an able-bodied GP. Mr Sadler lost his limbs after developing the condition body dysmorphic disorder.
Quote MessageI haven't left my flat for three months. To get upstairs to my first floor flat I have to crawl across the ground and go on my bum up the stairs. I can't tell you how many bruises I've had from that.

Herefordshire Council say they're urgently working to speed up the process and say there have been delays due to complications from the committee which run the listed building.
The council says it will soon start work on to create a wet room.
