    A memorial to British victims of terrorism overseas is due to be unveiled later.

    Among those remembered will be John Stollery, from Walesby, who was one of 30 UK holidaymakers killed by a gunman near Sousse in Tunisia in 2015.

    The unveiling of the tribute, at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire, will be attended by the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall and foreign secretary Boris Johnson.

    Warwickshire take a break from county championship cricket to play their first limited overs game of the season today.

    They host Derbyshire in the 50-over Royal London One Day Cup - a competition they won in 2016.

    It's a competition they've had mixed experiences of though - last season they finished bottom of their qualifying group.

    It's the first of eight successive one-dayers on the fixture list and the game starts at 11:00.

    An investigation into an incident that left a Shropshire warehouse worker buried under several tonnes of cheese is drawing to a close.

    The fork-lift driver spent eight hours trapped at the Edwards Transport warehouse in Hinstock, two years ago.

    Shropshire Council says inquiries have been "complex and thorough", and once the findings are known a decision will be made on whether any further action is needed.

    A village store and post office in Shropshire are to close after plans for a fish and chip shop in part of the shop were turned down by the council.

    The Knockin Shop, in the Shropshire village of Knockin, has earned something of a reputation because of its name.

    Leaseholder Sandy Norton said fewer people were dropping in to buy newspapers and were getting their groceries cheaper elsewhere.

    She wanted to convert part of the shop currently used as a cafe and hair salon, but had her application turned down in February.

    The Post Office at the shop closes today, with the store itself due to shut next week.

    The life of the broadcaster Ed Doolan will be celebrated today at a memorial service.

    Friends and family will be joined by BBC WM listeners at Birmingham Cathedral to celebrate the broadcaster who died in January.

    Tributes will be paid by the Archbishop of York, John Sentamu, and the comedian Jim Davidson.

    The service will then be broadcast on BBC WM from 19:00.

    The singer Beverley Knight has been honoured with the freedom of Wolverhampton.

    It adds to a list of accolades for the artist which include an MBE and three MOBO awards.

    A woman from Worcestershire who says her marriage is "loveless and desperately unhappy" is preparing to ask Supreme Court justices to let her divorce her husband of 40 years.

    Tini Owens says after four decades together and with their children now grown up, it's time to formally end the relationship.

    But her husband, Hugh Owens, does not feel the same way, saying they still have a few years to enjoy together.

    Five Supreme Court judges will decide whether to let Mrs Owens have her divorce - after lower courts decided she was not entitled to one.

    The greyhound racing venue at York Road has been set on fire, looted by metal thieves and targeted by vandals since it shut less than a year ago.

    Derby-based Cawarden has been on the grounds for four weeks after Birmingham City Council gave the green light for demolition work to commence.

    Developer Linden Homes is then set to deliver a new 210-home estate which will be called Olympia, named after the site which was once called Olympia Sports Ground.

    West Midlands Police is stepping up its campaign to tackle sex offences within the LGBT community.

    Following the success of events such as Pride, the force is supporting licensed venues to ensure their bar and door staff are better trained to protect vulnerable customers.

    It comes as officers say they're aware of an increase in sex attacks on gay men.

    More than 120,000 people have signed a petition opposing plans for holiday parks in forest and woodland sites.

    Among other projects, campaigners are angry at the proposal to build 68 log cabins in Mortimer Forest, saying it would have a devastating impact on the area..

    The firm behind the project, Forest Holidays, however, says it will protect the environment.

    About a third of inmates at a Warwickshire jail were found with a phone last year, a BBC investigation has found.

    Figures show 225 mobiles were found on prisoners at HMP Onley near Rugby.

    One smuggled mobile phone or SIM card was seized for every six inmates in English and Welsh jails last year, the analysis found.

    A ceremony to dedicate a new national memorial to British victims of overseas terrorism is taking place at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.

    Those who've lost loved ones and others directly affected have been invited to the event in Alrewas.

    It's hoped the memorial, called "Still Water", will provide a focal point of remembrance for the whole country.
