An earlier vehicle fire has closed one lane of the entry slip road to the M42 southbound at J6 in the West Midlands.
There's been a call for a clampdown on the easy availability of corrosive household substances after a number of attacks in the West Midlands.
The Labour MP for Birmingham Ladywood, Shabana Mahmood, has warned of the potential dangers of the substances after a woman was left seriously injured by a suspected acid attack in the city on Tuesday.
Police are investigating three assaults involving corrosive liquids in the Midlands in the space of just four days.

West Midlands Police says officers have cordoned off an area of the Bullring in Birmingham after "reports of a man acting suspiciously".
They went on to say "he has been detained and a bag we believe he was carrying remains in situ for examination by specialists".

Crewe Alexandra goalkeeper Ben Garratt (pictured) says he's determined to hold on to his number one spot this season, despite the challenge he's facing from Dave Richards.
The 24-year-old has dominated the position for some time now, making 204 appearances for the club since his debut on the final day of 2012/13.
But Richards signed an extended contract in April, external and is looking to build on last season, when he made his debut for the Alex in September.

A farm in Cheshire's told BBC Radio Stoke they've had to lay off staff because of the heatwave.
The public are being advised to take shelter from the sun, as the joint warning from the NHS, Public Health England and the Met Office says there is a 90% probability of heatwave conditions until 09:00 BST on Friday.
Farmer Jenny Rathbone says the high temperatures and the lack of rainfall is causing crops to fail at Cuttleford Farm, Congleton.
Over 20,000 plants have been affected as well potatoes, peas and carrots.

The Chief Constable of West Midlands Police is doing shifts for some of his officers, to help clear a backlog of calls.
Dave Thompson said it would be a "test of memory", but due to "huge demand in recent weeks" he had been forced into "deploying officers from many roles" to help clear the backlog.
Part of the Bullring in Birmingham has been cordoned off by the police this evening.

Shropshire Council bought a shopping centre in Shrewsbury without carrying out a formal valuation first, auditors have revealed.
But Grant Thornton told the council's audit committee they were "not particularly concerned", because the purchase of the Riverside Centre was just a small part of the £52.2m purchase of three shopping centres in the town.
The auditors said they advised a valuation should be carried out before the £3.5m purchase of the Riverside Centre, but the authority said it was happy with its "desktop valuation".
Grant Thornton also estimated the three shopping centre will make £10.7m for the authority over the next five years, but there are still risks if the properties decrease in value.

With the school holidays under way, a church in Stoke-on-Trent's urging families to donate school uniforms which their children have grown out of.
Chell Parish Church, external is asking people to drop off donations at Tesco in Kidsgrove.
They say that this summer they want to create a bank of uniforms to give to struggling families before school starts again in September.
Reverend Chris Coupe told BBC Radio Stoke that uniforms "cost a lot, money's tight" so they aim to help those most in need.
A war memorial in Herefordshire has been badly damaged by a car.
Villagers in Shobdon are hoping that it can be repaired in time for the commemorations to mark the end of World War One in November.
The pieces of the memorial are in storage, awaiting repair, and the driver of the car was not badly injured.

A building in Telford, which some say is England's first working men's club, is going to get a £1.1m refurbishment.
Madeley Town Council has gathered the money for the Anstice Hall through grants, loans and savings after twice being rejected by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
The refurbishment will start in the new year and include the installation of a lift and space for a library, cafe and retail units.

Changes are going to be made to the way children in Stoke-on-Trent get help with mental health issues.
The city council's approved a new plan, external which puts more focus on offering help at an earlier stage and will redesign the service for those whose problems aren't as severe.
A report for the authority says the current system can be "challenging and complex" for youngsters and their familes and it is "fragmented".
The council says making the changes will especially benefit children who are particularly vulnerable.
