A former NatWest Bank in Newport could be turned into a bar.
The Stoke-based Titanic Brewery says it plans to open between 08:00 and 23:00 and while it might make some changes to the front of the building, the interior layout would remain largely unchanged.
The bank, on High Street, was one of a number of NatWest branches to close last year and it shut its doors for the last time in May.

A school's been given leftover equipment from a £265m project to upgrade a stretch of the M6 to a smart motorway.
Highways England says it used purple pipes to hold electricity cables in while it carried out the work in Cheshire and has now given some to Sandbach School.
It says a groundsman at the school approached them for the pipes and is using them as pitch dividers on their all-weather sports pitch.
Quote MessageI was driving on the M6 to the football one day and it suddenly popped into my head that the purple pipes that ran along the motorway would be the perfect solution for what we needed. They’ve saved us a lot of money and work really well!”

Netting which had been wrapped around a hedgerow in Ludlow appears to have been torn down.
Shropshire councillor Andy Boddington took these photos of the hedgerow in Rocks Green, before and after.
The practice of putting netting over hedges is legal and housing developers around the country do it, to prevent birds from nesting.
But it has angered wildlife groups, including the RSPB and the Woodland Trust, who say it is bad for animals living there.
Mr Boddington said he believed the netting had been torn down deliberately, as a protest, but described it as an "own goal" because it denied other campaigners the chance to raise awareness of the practice.
The device was found close to a railway line and train passengers have experienced delays.

Shrewsbury Town manager Sam Ricketts says the League One table "looks nice" at the moment, but warned "it can change very quickly".
They've pulled four points clear of the relegation zone in recent weeks and now sit in 14th place, but a couple of defeats could drop them back into trouble again.
Ricketts says he doesn't worry about what other teams are doing though, saying his side are "more than capable" of winning enough games to ensure they stay up.
