Shrewsbury Town defender Scott Golbourne insists he will be fit for pre-season training next month, despite picking up a serious knee injury in their last game of the season.
The 31-year-old signed a two-year deal last week with the League One side having joined in January on a short-term contract.

A horse has been rescued after getting stuck in a ditch when it was "spooked" by a lorry, fire crews have said.
Hereford and Worcester Fire Service said a woman was riding the animal on the A465 in Stoke Lacy, near Bromyard, this morning when the vehicle drove past. , external
With help from a local farmer, firefighters winched the horse out while it was sedated and said it's now made a full recovery.

Part of the centre of Shrewsbury has been shut to traffic today and won't reopen for up to eight weeks.
Gas maintenance company Cadent is replacing ageing iron mains with plastic pipes and Shropshire Council's closed Mardol Head and Shoplatch for the work. , external

A house fire that led to the death of a woman in Hereford was started accidentally, fire investigators have confirmed.
More then 30 firefighters from Hereford and Worcester Fire Service battled the blaze on Cobhall Close on Friday afternoon.
A women died in the fire while a man who got out of the house needed hospital treatment for minor injuries.

A 17-year-old boy was chased by two men before being punched and stabbed in the arm and back in Coventry, police say.
The assault happened on Far Gosford Street a about 01:30 on Saturday.
He was taken to hospital suffering injuries which are not believed to be serious, said West Midlands Police.
The force is appealing to taxi drivers who might have been in the area at the time and witnessed the assault to come forward.
Supermarket staff in the West Midlands made an unusual find when stacking bananas on a shelf - a tropical spider which had stowed away from South America.
The RSPCA said the discovery was made at a branch in Brierley Hill, although it hasn't revealed which firm made the discovery.
The brown and white spider, about the size of a 20p coin, was hastily put in a sealed box and is now with a specialist keeper who has described it as an "exciting find" - although he hasn't yet identified its exact species is as it's so rare.
The RSPCA adds that it's not the first time this supermarket's made such a discovery, having found a spider from Brazil on bananas in February.
Police are investigating the messages while an MP calls for a protest exclusion zone "to protect children".

Some 1.5 million people in England are at high risk of losing their jobs to automation, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
Mayor Andy Street said £5m worth of funding for his Beat the Bots initiative would be made available for colleges and training providers to deliver innovative digital training.
The fund, which he said was "our way to stay ahead", represented a chance to gain digital skills "which will prepare our workforce for the jobs of the future".
“Artificial intelligence, self-driving vehicles and robotics are getting better, and, in reality, it’s only a matter of time before real people will lose out to bots in the fight for jobs," he added.
The funding comes from the government’s National Retraining Scheme, and was announced by Secretary of State for Education Damian Hinds in summer 2018, as part of the West Midlands Combined Authority's Skills Deal.

People are being urged to continue to avoid High Street, Bridgnorth for "the next couple of hours" after a suspected gas leak was found and cut off.
Shropshire Fire Service were called to the road just before 14:00, external after reports of a "strong smell of gas" in the area.
Just before 17:00, crews said they'd found the leak and cut it off, external but it would still take some time for the gas to clear naturally.
