    Police have promised to leave "no stone unturned" when it comes to finding the killer of a teenager in Wolverhampton, despite no-one being charged with his murder a year after the stabbing.

    Keelan Wilson, 15, was injured following reports of a group of youths fighting on Langley Road, Merry Hill, Wolverhampton, on 29 May 2018.

    He was taken to hospital where he later died. A post-mortem examination confirmed he died from stab wounds.

    Nine teenagers have since been arrested in connection with the murder and released under investigation.

    In March, his mother Kelly Ellitts said she felt let down by detectives, adding "they make me feel like a burden".

    West Midlands Police has made a fresh appeal for information on the anniversary of the stabbing, external, admitting it was a "complex investigation".

    West Mercia Police said the crash happened on Sunday morning on the B5410 Offenham Road in Evesham.

    The woman, aged in her 20s, is still in hospital but officers said her injuries aren't thought to be life-threatening.

    Coventry ska band The Specials are being honoured in Los Angeles by having 29 May named after them.

    The idea came from Monica Rodriguez, a councillor in the city and fan of the group.

    She says the honour is a "Rude Girl's dream" as the multi-racial bad came together in the 80s against a backdrop of racism and division which is still present today.

    Ambulance crews in the West Midlands are going to given body-worn cameras as figures show two out of five paramedics in the region have been attacked.

    West Midlands Ambulance Service is going to use the equipment in trial areas by next year.

    Previous attacks on paramedics include an incident over a 'parking row' in Birmingham in March 2018 and a patient attacking staff as they tried to treat him in Handsworth, Birmingham, in November.

    The service's chief executive, Anthony Marsh, told the trust's board this week that the cameras might not stop attacks but would help secure convictions in court.

    It was revealed at the meeting that between April and October 2018 there had been 171 attacks on paramedics in the region.

    An entire town's going to be created at a museum after it secured £9.4m of lottery cash.

    The money brings the total funding gained by the Black Country Living Museum to £23m and it's planning to start work on the proposals this summer. , external

    They'll see several buildings recreated and some moved to the site brick-by-brick to give a "snapshot" of life in the area during the 1940s to 1960s.

    The museum, in Dudley, West Midlands, has said the project should be finished in three years.

    The boyhood Villa fan turned boss was so excited at winning promotion that he joined in the singing at Wembley - and he promises the fun did not stop there.

    "We'll come up against the likes of Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp," he said.

    "People might laugh at me but I'll still want to try and win those games."

    A five-year-old boy with leukaemia will have his stem cell transplant today, his family's said,, external after a massive appeal for donors.

    Oscar Saxelby-Lee, from Worcester, was told he needed a transplant within three months of chemotherapy otherwise his chances of survival would "severely diminish".

    He has been treated at Birmingham Children's Hospital for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, which was diagnosed when he became unwell over Christmas.

    In March, he was found to be free of leukaemia blast cells, meaning the transplant could go ahead and he underwent preparations for the operation earlier this month.

    Events have been run across the country to encourage thousands of people to join the register to help Oscar find a donor and three matches were found.

    The 29-year-old was beaten 6-3 6-7 (4-7) 6-3 6-2 by Spanish 23rd seed Fernando Verdasco.

    Clay is Evans' weakest surface and he has now lost in the first round in both appearances in Paris.

    At times he pushed a player who has reached the fourth round in Paris seven times before running out of steam and needing treatment on his right calf in the fourth set.
