A father who pushed for an independent review into the maternity scandal at hospitals in Shropshire says he's convinced more families will contact the investigation.
A debate in the House of Commons yesterday heard more than 900 had already contacted the review, led by Donna Ockenden.
The probe is focusing on claims a number of babies and mothers died or were harmed in the care of Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital Trust.
Richard Stanton and his wife Rhiannon Davies, whose baby Kate died in 2009, were among the families who first pushed for the independent inquiry.
"We have had families approach us saying the care that they had at maternity services at that trust last year was so bad that they want to be put in touch with the Ockenden review, so I'm absolutely convinced more families will come forward," he said today.
The NHS trust said in a statement it was committed to working with the review and had made improvements , external - a point also made by CQC inspectors following unannounced visits in November.

Two men have been arrested after police said they had reports of men, external armed with a sword and a machete causing trouble.
Armed police were sent to Worcester Road, Shrewsbury, yesterday afternoon and searched three homes.
The pair, aged 39 and 37, were arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill and are still in custody.
Officers add they are still searching for a third suspect.
The driver, who was filmed with two people holding it out of his window, has his licence suspended.

An abandoned German shepherd has been found tied to a telegraph pole, and could have been there all night, said Birmingham City Council.
The council's environmental health team said the "middle-aged German shepherd" was discovered in Peddimore Lane, Sutton Coldfield.
Officers said they were "unable to scan for a chip" as he was "very nervous".
It reminded the public that there are rescue centres in the area who could help rehome a dog.

A new road sweeper in Rugby has been named Bruce Springclean.
Rich Warren, Operations Director of Rugby First, announced the name earlier after 700 people voted in a poll.
The electric machine is "literally the boss of road sweepers," he said.
The contractor was working on a lift at the plant in Shropshire at the time, the firm says.

Plans for a tower block set to provide the UK's "highest altitude dining experience" outside London have been approved.
The new skyscraper on Broad Street will provide up to 503 luxury apartments, ground floor shops as well as cinema, gym and workshop facilities for residents.

Drugs and two imitation firearms were seized after a suspected drug dealer was spotted acting suspiciously in a Coventry street.
A "sizeable" bag of drugs was discovered in a vehicle along with a knuckleduster after officers approached a car parked in Gerard Avenue just before 17:30.
In a search of the 20-year-old's nearby address officers also uncovered the imitation handguns.
