Arrests after 'boot-load' of catalytic converters foundpublished at 18:05 British Summer Time 16 October 2020
Four men have been arrested after stolen catalytic converters were seized from the boot of a car in Dudley.
The "boot-load" of converters, cut from vehicle exhaust pipes, were found by officers on patrol in Bridgnorth Road, Wollaston in the early hours of this morning.
A 22-year-old from Brierley Hill, a 19-year-old man from Wolverley, a 22-year-old man from Dudley and a 25-year-old man from Halesowen remain in police custody for questioning.
Further searches will take place at their home addresses and any linked premises as part of the investigation, said West Midlands Police.
