A man has been arrested after a planned illegal rave this weekend, Staffordshire Police said.
The 21-year-old, from Stafford, was held on suspicion of conspiring to cause a public nuisance, and remains in custody.
Supt Carl Ratcliffe said officers were cracking down on illegal events.
"We will intervene in incidents and seek to prosecute anyone who has organised or is taking part in any illegal raves in order to keep individuals and the wider community as safe as possible," he said.
Wolverhampton City Council has joined the chorus of local authorities to continue free school meals for struggling families over the holidays.
Council leader Ian Brookfield said the move would "ensure 16,000 Wolverhampton children in low income households don't go hungry this half term".
A motion to extend free school meals over holidays during the coronavirus pandemic - championed by footballer Marcus Rashford - was rejected by MPs in a vote on Wednesday.
A number of councils across the country, including Birmingham and Telford and Wrekin have made the decision to step in themselves to support children and their families over the holidays.
