    A sex worker has said she's had no choice but to carry on working during the coronavirus pandemic - putting her health and the health of others at risk.

    The Shropshire woman, who doesn't want to be identified, said she looked for ways to diversify her business and go online, but she was worried it compromised her privacy.

    She said running an erotic phone line didn't earn her enough money to live.

    She said she'd been forced to move to a cheaper flat because of her loss of earnings and was having to meet clients at her home, because hotels were closed.

    The support group The English Collective of Prostitutes has called for sex workers to be given financial support from government.

    Three men have been arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence after police were called to reports of disorder in Birmingham.

    West Midlands Police said three men, aged 19, 27 and 28, fled the scene on Washwood Heath Road at about 11:00 GMT on Tuesday and were arrested on Newhall Street shortly afterwards by armed officers.

    The force said no one is thought to have been seriously injured in the attack but officers had seized two blank firing pistols and some blank firing rounds.

    Two people are receiving treatment in hospital after jumping to safety from the roof of a burning house in Handsworth, Birmingham.

    Emergency services were called to the severe blaze on Regent Road at about 23:10 GMT last night with 35 firefighters tackling the blaze at its height.

    West Midlands Fire Service said crews remained on site this morning and were working with police to establish the cause of the fire.

    The two patients' injuries are related to their fall, police said, and not the fire.

    The property has been left with severe damage, West Midlands Police said, but the fire was prevented from spreading to adjoining properties.
